For the Digital Artist Inspiration Project, I had to find a digital artist that I find inspiring or whose work I like, research them, and then recreate an art piece that is similar to the artists. I chose to do my project on Emi Haze because from the moment I saw his work I was amazed by the colors and the use of Photoshop in his art but also how the images didn't look completely digital. I wanted to use the same type of Photoshop techniques, mainly the use of elements and people in his work.
Reflection
One thing I really got out of this project was a better understanding of Photoshop brushes. They make it easier to create effects without spending hours on Photoshop. I like that my artist incorporates the elements of earth as well as people in his works. I learned techniques such as using a stool to pose on, using the quick selection tool in Photoshop and erase the stool, and making it look like your model is floating. This goes more into surrealism art which isn't quite what my artist created but I wanted to try my hand at that art style as well.
